I responded to Brent's post about planting. But I thought I should do an official post (even though you should be reading comments anyway!)
I got in contact with someone from the park conservatory. He said that planting season is pretty much over, we could still get involved and do
1. Habitat Restoration - which is more hands on and in the field
or
2. Native Plant Nurseries - which is less strenuous
or
3. We could do both.
Please let me know if you have a strong preference either way. Otherwise I will ask him to try to coordinate a program that is a mixture of 1 and 2.
